Feel Good Friday

from
(I love this header.)
This is what they say about doing Feel Good Friday.
It's simple, and easy. Just make a list. List 5 things that made you really happy this week. No matter how bad or boring you think your week was, I bet you can find 5 things.

1
My husband actually spoke the words, "You were right."  Why he said it isn't important.  He said it.  And then wouldn't put it in writing.  I've got a note about it on the calendar. :)

I got my laundry done yesterday.  You'd think that with just two people in the house that it wouldn't be such a big deal.  But my dryer holds me up.  It's less than a year old but has this crazy time limit on drying.  I wish I'd investigated different brands more before we bought it.

3
I cut all of our grass the other day and it felt sooooo good.  I love being outside.  Mister still hasn't fully recovered from his septoplasty so can't do any heavy lifting.  So I took on the job myself.  After two summers of not being able to do any yardwork myself, it was wondeful. Even in the 100+ temperatures.  I do GREAT in hot weather.

4
Ashley Marie came for another afternoon at Weezer's Water World. (Photos coming soon.)  She had so much fun. Almost as much fun as I had cutting the grass.

5
I'm doing great these days.
I've finally found that if you're okay spiritually and emotionally, it's not totally bad when you're having a physically bad day....again.

Fun and Cutting Grass is an oxymoron if I ever heard one. Even if I lived in a condo and had a 12’ x 12’ yard, I would still want a riding lawnmower.

If I could afford it (and I could convince the Nazi HOA - never again)I would Astroturf the yard and have plastic plants.

If my husband said the words "you were right" I would want it in writing too :-) I cannot imagine how cutting the grass in the blistering heat can be fun, but each to their own! Thank you for visiting my blog.

Wow, you need to write that day in stone. It is a rare occurrence when a man says, "you were right."

Sounds like you got a lot done before the weekend. THAT is great! I have a HUGE pile of laundry for this weekend, but luckily nice, new machines. :-)
