The second Saturday evening of each month we have family game night. We rotate the location from home to home and this month's gathering was at Scott and Jessica's. It's usually a get-together of lots of noise, laughter, and finger foods. Tonight was no exception. Things seem to be getting more lively with the little ones, Ashley Marie and Leah, being more mobile. They managed to create their own play time together. What fun!
We try to keep things pretty lose and those who can attend do and those who can't make it.........well, that's alright, too. We were joined by Mark's sister, Christine, and it's always good to have others join in.
We started with a game of Linq until Christine, Mark, Ashley, and Ashley Marie arrived. Then things got split up with a table of Hearts and another of Dominoes. After the Dominoe game, I attempted to teach everyone how to play a card game of Pig, a game that my whole family used to play at Thanksgivings down at Baxley.
What a fun time. We all laughed and enjoyed each other's company so much. Angelia, Larry, and Shelby haven't been able to come home for our game nights since we started having them on a scheduled basis. Maybe they'll be able to make it sometime. The next one will be on Saturday, November 14. Dad and I will be hosting it here at our home.

It really was fun, wasn't it? We had a blast, and the house seemed SO quiet after everyone left!
That looks like so much fun!!! Especially love the pictures of Ashley and Leah playing together!
Glad everyone had a good time.
