Monday's Morsels #20

You know what I really dislike?  Okay.  I'll tell you.
I don't like all the Swiffer commercials on TV these days. Yeah, I know.  It's probably just my age, but I sure do find all of them stupid.  AND I don't like the fact that so many commercials today are taking perfectly wonderful ol' songs and using them for commercial jingles.  Yes, they're great songs but they're being reduced to rubbish (my grandmother's word).  And who can enjoy hearing good music like that when a mop is about to seduce a bowling ball.
Love the products.  Really I do.
But I don't like these commercials.  If you like them, don't hate me.

Have you ever done any on-line shopping from Woman Within?  I never had until recently.  My mother had a catalog and I was very, very interested that the styles in there weren't for skinny ladies.  They're for ladies who have tummies, butts, and hips.  (I don't have anything against skinny ladies, but I'm just not one of them.)  I ordered a pair of capris from them (at a very reasonable price) and I absolutely love them.  They fit perfectly and I didn't feel like I had a wedgie that went from my belly button to my woo-hoo.  Their sizes start at 12W and go on up.  They're fuller cuts and I noticed that they're made of more sensible fabrics for us who do have tummies, butts, and hips.  And even boobs.

If any of you need meds for flatulence, impotence, gastric disturbances or flat feet.  Or even a new bed for an old aching back.  Or want to take a miscellaneous poll about miscellaneous stuff.  Or need to order business cards.....buy one, get one free.
How about walkers, canes, or therapeutic shoes.
Let me know.  I'll forward on to you one of the eMails that keep hitting my spam folder.
Doggone it!
Sometimes I check in here and just look at all the smiling faces looking back at me from my follower list.  I love that I can look at your picture and know your names and recall where you are or what you've got going on.  You really do make me smile.  And make my life as a blogging fool very, very nice.

Do dogs have selective hearing?  How is it that Grace, my Boykin Spaniel, can't hear me when I call her from one side of the yard to the other, but as soon as I start to take gummy bears out of a plastic jar, she comes running?  Do you suppose the gummy bears speak to her?

The gummy bears speak to me. I take a bag or them or gummy worms with me on my transports. Yum!

Great post! You are a hoot. Those Swiffer commercials drive me nuts too. Enough is enough people. The bad thing is my 5yr old started singing that song the other day in a restaurant - "ohh, sexy lady." lol

kids!

I love your post today! The thing that happens to your dog, always happens with our younger cat! Just that he wants kibbles and not gummy bears! You fave food looks delicious, and I think it's cute that you have a pink phone. Thanks for visiting my blog, and come back any time! I'll be following your blog:)

I know what you mean about the comercials. I just don't like the way they make the mops and brooms work. They work just fine. They make the people that use them look like they don't know what they are doing.
