Day 2 - Gatlinburg absence

There's a beautiful little trail that leads through a forest of greens and browns.  Last year there were wild flowers of all colors blooming.  The fall weather had been mild and the temperatures were kind to the growing things.

I love being out doors in the woods.  Once upon a time, we'd make the trip to the Smokies with big plans of all the hikes we would take.

We've slowed down a bit and the hikes are less strenuous.
